See pp. 54–55. The length of Lincoln Parkway has repeatedly caused confusion. The area used by Neuhaus, from the junction of two lanes to Bird Avenue at Soldiers Place, measures half a mile. Neuhaus also mentions this length in his introductory text for the "prototype version." At the beginning of the text, however, the idea behind the play is described, and here a full mile is mentioned.
