In 2007, filmmakers Sabine Groschup and Georg Weckwerth directed A View of Ears, a 90-minute documentary exploring the life and site-specific sound installations of Max Neuhaus.
The film was a collaboration between Nikolaus Geyrhalter Filmproduktion (Vienna) and weltfilm gmbh (Berlin).
With Maryanne Amacher, Laurie Anderson, Brian Eno (t.b.c.), Terry Fox, Bernhard Leitner, Alvin Lucier, Bruce Nauman (t.b.c.), Max Neuhaus (t.b.c.), R. Murray Schafer, Akio Suzuki, La Monte Young/Marian Zazeela (t.b.c.) as well as Nam June Paik and John Cage.
