Max Neuhaus, a prominent sound artist and experimental musician, was involved in the activities of Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.) during this period. E.A.T., co-founded by engineer Billy Klüver and artist Robert Rauschenberg, aimed to facilitate collaborations between artists and engineers and explore the intersection of art and technology.
