An interview with Max Neuhaus by Ron Kuivila took place at Wesleyan University in 2002. The interview was conducted as part of a festival at the university. A transcript of this public interview is available online
Kuivila later noted that Neuhaus expressed interest in expanding the interview for publication, but this was never realized before Neuhaus's death in 2009. The transcript remains a valuable document for understanding Neuhaus's artistic theories during the final decade of his career.
