Palazzo dei Pellegrini - Barberino Val d'Elsa

This exhibition is in essence a proposal for the realization here in Barberino Val d'Elsa of the ideas outlined in the panels now mounted on the walls of this room. It will be the first full scale realization of the idea.

The heart of this work of Neuhaus' is the connection of an ancient practice -- the use of sound as a fundamental reference for a community -- with a completely new concept.  Making the first realization in Barberino, whose medieval structure is still in tact, becomes a metaphor of this juxtaposition the ancient with the new.
